scottie(the)goonie
*Feel free to insert joke here* My trust can of gruv-glide has ran out of air (even though I can shake the can and feel liquid inside of it). I finally got my Scratch Science record delivered from France but, like all new records, it has a lot of static. Microfiber towels just made it worse. Any easy remedy that doesn't require me buying stuff? by the way "State" en Francais is "Etats" - which is "State" spelled backwards. thought that was cool. doppelkorn
Almost man. Etat means state, Etats is the plural so means states. No need to thank me. I've always wondered if you can de-static a record just by grounding it. My knowledge of this kind of thing is WEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAK though. So there's a massive charge build up on the record and you need to discharge that somehow...zap it away on a tap? I'm convinced that won't work but I don't know why.
