The only things putting me off are that it's seemingly very buggy, and it sounds like you need to play it with a group of people to have the most fun/best chance of survival. jimmy penguin Posted July 17, 2012 Share Posted July 17, 2012 you need a few.. but if a few of ye on here join up together it would be fun..its not that glitchy.. i have 2 mates that live together that go around together for dayzzzzz...think there are 4 of them all living together playing it now actually...i've watched them play for hours and seems stable eough to have fun.. although one time the 2 boys walked through a door at the same time and one of em came out with 2 broken legs .. that was the most fun ive had watching yet though for sure haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytOE5RJwk3M&feature=plcp this is the lads blowing up a cow to have a freshly-flash fried day-z burger.. if you get the night visio during the day you can go around the night maps and it looks deadly...!!!now go play.. It does sound super cool, but I don't want to pay full price for Arma 2 just to play a mod which is still in Alpha stage. If they lower the price a bit more in the Steam sale I might pick it up. Steve Posted July 18, 2012 Author Share Posted July 18, 2012 The game is being incorporated into the next version of Arma, so I might wait until then. @Vekked - It's a mod for the FPS game, Arma II. You basically appear on a large island with bugger all gear and you have to try and survive both zombies and other players. What makes it different from other games of this type is the realism (I know it's zombies, but you know what I mean). It only takes a couple of swipes from a zombie or one bullet and you're dead, so you have to creep about as you would if that sort of thing was really happening, which makes it a tense, but pretty awesome experience by all accounts.
