Dan
From next month, two of the UK's biggest record companies will make singles available for sale on the same day they're released to radio stations. http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/12204592 Personally I think this is a good idea. There is nothing more annoying than hearing a song on the radio only to look it up on iTunes and find it's released about a month later, but it's already on the torrents. texas pete
I think this will see a huge increase of sales for the artists. By the time the songs were actually released, I was so sick of hearing them on hte radio.

Jimmy
i wsh they'd do the same for dnb
Jon
Having that scenario with dnb and other forms of dance music would make DJs dig harder I think. It would at least seperate those who are really on the pulse to those who just play whatever the big tunes are.
Sounds like a crime
This sounds like a great idea! Making music more accesible. i have to admit, I used to illegally download music all the time. Mostly because there was a song i wanted that wasnt availble to buy, I would just end up downloading the whole album off the net. Since i got an ipod and its so easy to buy songs, I just usually do that. I tried getting White lies new single and found out it wasn't out yet. But i ended up buying the cd today.
