Jon
i'd say superseal personally yep, just practice with acapellas every so often too so you don't get a habit of being heavy handed from using skipless sections/
doppelkorn
Hi guys, cheers for the continued tips. I don't have any loopers but TBH I'm not much into the sound of them. I think I'll just use instro's. Especially as I've got no DVS - just a really old-skool setup of 2TTs, mixer, amp/cd player.

mattnice
Don't learn any of the fast ones for a while, they may sound the best or the most fun but you'll just become a one trick pony and have zero funk. Jimmy listen to Jon's Words

Jimmy
i like being a 1 trick tech pony! Edit: to be fair tho, the way i learnt wast the best option, i basically learnt everything that was difficult and then filled in the gaps later. everything is better with hindsight! johnny 1 move
flares are really hard to learn, but worth learning. Flares the easy way: Do constant chirpsEvery now and then do a forward backward record movement that is double size and takes twice as long to go forward backThat's a slow flare, in fact it's slow chirp-flare combos then.. Do constant chirpsEvery now and then do some double speed fader hand movementsThats a quicker chirp-lfare combo Simples :-)
