mattnice
Maybe Try some Bob Marley and just get yourself a Trojan Records Compilation
Wax On
I've got some Bob Marley, Trojan comp sounds like a good idea though, nice one. Thats an awesome pic of Harvey. I'd let him bury it Deep Deep Down inside my House Of Love
Gizmo
Gregory Isaacs. Or just do a search for Lovers Rock.

Wax On
how come Matt, what's brought this on, Harvey been giving you some Beef? Gregory Isaacs. Or just do a search for Lovers Rock. Is lovers rock like a genre in the way that quiet storm is or something?

Wax On
Yeah comps are a good point. there's those 100% Dynamite ones and stuff innit. I think Gizmo's sensed my vibe though, i'm checking out some Lovers Rock at the moment and it's hitting the spot.
mattnice
never been the biggest fan of Lovers Rock, when i was 18 i used to work in a factory, and the guy i worked with played it allday.100% Dynamite and them ones is the way to go
Wax On
Haha safe. I'm a sucker for some ballady stuff so i think a bit of lovers rock will do me nicely. I'll get some comps too though for sure. I've never hugely bothered with delving into reggae, as there's so bloody much, and i already spend a lot of time trying to find out more about jazz funk and hip hop. I'm now ready for a new genre. Wax On
Haha yeah it wouldn't surprise me! I'm fuckin terrible with listening to/embracing new music! In the past 6 months i've started embracing the early 80's so i reckon this time next year i'll be into 80s electro

Guest broke
The Soul Jazz/Studio One comps are a good place to start. Also keep an eye out for anything on Bullwackies, especially their Sampler Vol 2 (best reggae comp ever, hands down).

Favs are: Mad Professor (my favorite), Scientist (you may know him from GTA3 radio stations), Lee Scratch Perry, King Tubby. Wax I think u should just quit fighting it and make a Reggaeton mix.
