Memory 9 is sick. That particular controller is a monome. I'm presuming he's using it in conjunction with ableton live. I've seen daedalus use that exact setup a couple of times too. I'd quite like a tenori-on:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byNx-kuKPIg purely as a writing tool for coming up with crazy percussion patterns for studio and live work. Jon
^ that's just fucking stupid you could do some crazy stuff with that if you assigned the patch bays to the patch bays in reason for example and you'd have a ton of control over any vst synth you were using
djdiggla
kinda like the early moogs... it would drive me crazy likely. This is how mature I would be:
djdiggla
I jammed out with this dood a year or so ago... these things are expensive but can do anything and also can be built custom. At the time he was doing them more custom per order--mpc pads on some, two mixing boards on others, etc.. they had P&G faders in em for digital DJing and you can scratch on the touch screen display. http://openlabs.com/index.html

drummy
^ that's just fucking stupidYou know nothing about modular synths, huh. The Buchla 200e sounds amazing to say the least. I'd buy one if a decent system wasn't worth about $20,000. It's very versatile as it's a polyphonic modular synth, rather than a monophonic like most modulars. Also, the fact that it's modular makes it very versatile in the first place.
