rygon Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 does anyone know where i can get one which is safe (ie no virus' etc) got xp original and have a new hdd which is 250gb...which xp doesnt recognise until sp1. tried to integrate xp with sp2 but once burned i cannot get it work (sees it as a 1.44"???!?) any help?? decisive Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 to attempt to answer both your questions, try torrentspy.com, there's definitely a xp+sp2+roll up updates on there which is high seeded... you could also look at partition magic, i'm not entirely sure i'm answering this one properly but it sounds like you've sent over the contents of your old hdd to the larger one and have a bunch of unpartioned space? partition magic can unlock the free stuff without having to piss about with windows' method of having to start again (although it doesn't make any guarantees as to data integrity). hth Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Steve Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 PM me your address man. I'll send you one out tomorrow. It's a clean version of XP Pro with SP2 integrated. The only thing that's been modified is the uxtheme.dll file, so you can use your own themes. Other than that, it's the same as the retail version.
