My old flatmate had one of those sick orange plastic looking Zippos, but lost it in Leeds. No distinguishing marks or anything. About ten months later, some dude walks up to us in the street in York, hands him the lighter and says "I think this is yours". We've never figured it out!

ooh, that is weird.

 

 

i had a pink bic, you know those 2/3 size ones. i swear that lighter brought me a daft amount of luck and i don't usually get superstitious like that but i was genuinely cut up when one day i lost it.

while on active duty in belize in the late 70's

early 80's my uncle found an engraved zippo in the jungle

army badge on one side "nipper" on the other

i'll dig it out n take a pic
