Liam
The neverending saga of combustible batteries continues http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/12/macbook...ire-down-under/ Oh, and before you all timeline me back to 2k6: this AIN'T on any recall list. And yes, I do know Sony manufacture the batteries, not Apple. But going by that logic, Apple don't make macbooks, seen? Anyone got a Vaio? Take a peek in the battery if you feel brave; they use superior Fujitsu cells, not Sony
Blak Randy
Mine is fucked again and has been for about 2 month but I can't face it. I wish I'd never bought it. lol. Now it doesn't do random shutdowns but will only power on when it's pluged into the mains. As soon as you take the mains socket out it switches off. The battery is fine too. I'm a take it back fri9day. Also the mini jack out is totally fucked too.
homecounties
that's fucked - are they giving you no joy with replacing it??
Blak Randy
that's fucked - are they giving you no joy with replacing it?? To be honest I've just been a lazy cunt so hjaven't been down this time. It can be used as long as plugged in which has made me more lazy. Gonna go down and just mouth off really loud in front of the other customers n stuff to see how far that gets me. Probably a free lift home of the plod.
homecounties
I feel bad recommending it to you. A friend of mine has gone through 2 of those magnetic power connecters on his macbook pro already. its weird because my 4 year old powerbook is still going strong.
