homecounties Posted December 18, 2006 Share Posted December 18, 2006 The bits where they couldn't refute the evidence that was presented so resorted to the old trick of finding some tenuous link about the author/magazine owner, also the mp3 where the guy goes on the radio talkshow and comes accross as quite reasonable, open minded and balanced whilst the talkshow prick does the usual ranting, brings up things completely unrelated to the discussion and generally comes accross like a right wing shock jock. If you go purely by who actually presents the most calm rational arguements that actually follow the generally accepted rules of debate, then conspiricy theorists (or whatever you want to call yourselves) fail every time. Sounds very much like what happened to Charlie Sheen too. Seems like both sides resort to the same tactics then. That's a surprise isn't it? Are you also ready to base your opinions on one nutty conspiracy theorist getting murked in a debate? Seems a bit silly to assume that one researcher represents the entire truth movement. Also, assuming that this debate was on the controled demolition theory, do you think that if it was proven not to be controlled demolition then that rules out a conspiracy? So to conclude, you are of the opinion that the attacks of 9/11 were exactly as concluded by the 9/11 Commision? Cool man, must be a relief!
