broma
If you're a student or got a student friend you can get a new macbook from the apple store for £650 - £100 off the normal price. I got one specifically for Serato and it runs perfectly even though its the cheapeast spec. Plus it's small and light so easily portable - I couldn't find a Windows laptop for that price that small. cbay
a second hand apple ibook would do well too. my mate's 800mhz g4 12" ibook runs serato flawlessly.
Alan
Shouldn't you wait until Apple decides to implement the Core 2 Duo chips in their comps? I read an ad in Best Buy the other day - they claim that the new chipsets are "20% faster, and more energy efficient".
