decisive Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 looks like glue gun glue is it? is that to make it heavier? i had the same idea this morning and filled mine with tin foil but (predicably) it hasn't made much difference to the weight... does it feel better heavier? my pcv is crazy loose, i kinda broke it into looseness and at first you could blow it one side to the other but over 6 months it's tightened up a bit, but what i was going for was the same ease of travel but a more substantial feel... is that what you've ended up with there? I put it there for two reasons 1) the lil plastic crosspiece that holds stem gets loose with time, my mate with a 320 has to change his fadercaps every 6 months. with hotglue its sturdy - simply because the crosspiece cant move anymore. 2) the fadercap is a ili heavier. not much but my Eternal feels a lil better now. oh and thanks for checking!
