Steve
Does anyone know of a good tag remover for audio files? I get fed up of badly written tags - I don't even use the fucking things, so if there's a simple program that'll remove them all then hook me up with a link! Steve
I'm talking about the tags, not the file names. I just want a simple drag and drop program that strips files of tags.

Steve
Cheers mate, but it requires the .NET Framework to run and I can't be arsed to install that just for one program.
Deft
Tag & Rename is bad ass. So good I even paid for it (!).

Steve
Tag & Rename is bad ass. So good I even paid for it (!).I gave it a try - looks like a powerful program. I set it to remove all tags in my music directory and it looked like it was doing it's thing for a few minutes, but once it was done the tags were still there. I was using the Multi File Tag Editor screen with the Remove Tags option. Any idea what I could be doing wrong Deft?
