Crabel
what do you mean by "trigger and gate"?
$a!n+
what do you mean by "trigger and gate"?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Trigger= press sample pad and sample plays out completly, no matter how long you hold the pad down. Gate= sample only plays as long as you hold the pad down.

Gate= sample only plays as long as you hold the pad down.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> To do this is reason use the NN-XT, in this sampler you can setup volume envelopes for each sample. Once you've loaded up each sample on to the key/keyzone you want you can then set the volume evelopes for each sample as follows... To 'trigger' set the Release of the envelope to the maximum. To 'gate' set the Release to the minimum, ^^ Make sense? P.S. You might actually find ableton live more suited to you use of the trigger finger, in there you simply assign a pad to a sample and select gate or trigger
Crabel
Oh right i see what you mean, in kontakt there is an option that sets loop, until end, on release, or on note or something and you can change that stuff there.
