Liam
Beating the Big Monster Generator at the end was hard as fuck with a keyboard or gamepad... christ knows how you'd manage to beat it with a clickwheel. Second only to Metroid Prime on the 'hardest bosses I've beaten' list I reckon. Unlike the final boss on Doom3, even on hard difficulty that was EASY, one of the easiest bits of the game IMO
texas pete
i never did kill the monster generator

Huw
but at the end of one of the levels in doom 2 you got transported to a little room with fuck loads of enemies in, and you stood no chance, even with the big fucking gun 9000. even cheats wore off! i never figured out how to beat it

Liam
the mortal kombat 2 bosses were quite tricky too<{POST_SNAPBACK}> That Smoke thing was damn hard, but mostly cos it took 50 perfect fights to get a chance didn't it? In retrospect Street Fighter murked Mortal Kombat hands down. I remember trading in my SNES SFIIturbo to get MK3 or something, I had that special edition one that came in a tin
