Make your own Flash loop player

for this you will need:

Flash (5 or MX)

and .:.THIS.:. File (2meg .fla file)

A brace of loops (in .wav or .mp3 format) - make sure they loop correctly!

==============

Now flash aint the nicest UI to use until you get used to it. If it all goes wrong, download the .fla and start again.

Open the .fla file

Import the loop files, they now appear in your "library"

on the "lyrBeats" layer click on frame 2

now drag a beat from your library and let it go on the form.

do the same for positions 4, 6, 8 and 10.

now test it by pressing CTRL+F12 - this a publish "preview" and will publish (compile) it into the default view (that can be changed in "publish settings")

once it's ok, "publish" it. you can publish as a variety of different ways. the ones we want are .exe or .swf

make sure those are checked.

i have just written this off the top of my head, i think i have covered everything.

bear in mind that flash can be a little "memory intensive" so it may slow stuff down at times.

also dont go importing HUMUNGOUS files into flash (ie a huge .wav) as it will go super SLOW!!!

if i remember rightly, you change the number of loops for each sound to 99 (or higher).

find the "properties" for the sound once you have plonked it on a frame.
