squaddy Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 The XS series seem like a really good line of mixers, I know it's very difficult to find an XS-8 right now, but how do the XS-4 and XS-3 compare. Max Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 I can't speak for the XS-3, but you wouldn't want it anyway. I know that the XS-4 does indeed use the Ecler pro fader, and i believe that the XS-3 prob does as well. While I loved my XS-8, i dont think I'd ever by a 4 or 3. They're okay, but for a little more money you could get a much better mixer, like a second-hand Stanton SA series (excluding the SA-3) or a Pioneer 707 (and yes, kids, they're still available...for about $270 usd last time i checked).
