  1. thanks to MOAB for finding those vulnerabilities.. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305214-de
  2. That was ok for 9 months! I was way worse back then. Funny to hear somebody else cutting on that beat... i used it a year ago for my breakfast practise.
  3. And that didn break it, i still use that mixer on a daily basis. With a little cleaning it feels like a one. The build quality is incredible!
  4. I guess "denote" is nu? Smooth and nice. A little lengthy though. But i really like it when the drums come in.
  5. Isnt that an exemplary experience for Apple users? You think some app isnt that good, check out alternatives and return to Apples apps in the end because they are the best? Happened to me with Safari, Mail, Grab, iWeb and even the QT player for recording from a web cam.
  6. I just gave it a try because its just like a native OS X app, using Cocoa & Web Kit (like Safari does). Thats why: Shiira is Safari with some additional features (custom search engines etc). But im still using Safari with the Debug menu... thats all i need.
  7. lol @ not finding the tab option. if you want to try something else go for shiira.

  9. doap. Reminds me on squarepusher too. Did i mention that im close to a infarction?
  10. Im looking for music with the greatest possible energy. There are different sorts of... jazz has some other frequency than Toadstyle cuts... but for me heavy noisia style DnB has the maximum energy available. I even listen to it sometimes when preparing for exams.
  11. same here but i listen to noisia a lot.
  12. that pop shit is nice! doesnt sound like skrachmusik though. which is good.
  13. wow, if i wasnt that drunk i would start to cut right now.
  14. 15 feet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firewire
  15. I hope you are kidding. Did you read Vistas EULA? I would rather get my Atari back from the loft. http://download.microsoft.com/documents/us...9a3d405c074.pdf
  16. There is no point reinstalling panther imo. The performance of tiger is the same or even better. Plus tiger has features like automator or spotlight which are indispensable for me. To get rid of the dasboard (it conumes too much RAM indeed!) you just need to do make sure that its not a startup object (@ system preferences /users). If you start it by accident with F12 change that at the system preferences too. If you did this the dashboard is like any other app, if you dont start it it wont waste RAM.
  17. [macfanboy] hm, did you do the usual maintenace on your G4? You need to run those routines offered @ /Utilities/DiskUtility plus get ONYX a free tool to run all those Unix maintenance routines OS X doesnt do properly. When you got the feeling that some app is sucking CPU or ram just check /Utilities/ActivityMonitor. You can terminate any app (including the dashboard) plus see whats happening at the moment. [/macfanboy]
  18. wtf do you do with your stuff? My Macs and the PC (Power Mac G4, iMac G3, Macbook, old Compaq laptop) run proper. Especially Macs do their job well for > 8 years if you do some maintenance (repair volume headers etc).
  19. I just read somthing about MS officials saying that they will keep Windows monolithic in future.
  20. that one is nice too. I really like this kind relaxed uptempo music.
