  1. Select the bit you want to increase in tempo (or the whole track), then go to Effetcs > Time/Pitch > Pitch Bender. Select the range in BPMs, in your case 10, then set the base BPM (in your case 100).
  2. I had an Asus laptop once, it was nice and didn't blow up on me. I was also told by the salesperson that Asus were the OEM manufacturers for some Sony Vaio laptops.
  3. Don McLean - American Pie http://www.sendspace.com/file/s51n47 Just a word of warning - this song is 8m32s long, and when I used to play this song when DJing [/shame] I would cut it half way through. Or if the chicks are loving it, at least cut it out at around 6m30s, where it slows right down again, before the final few verses. Oh god.
  4. I like em - good background music. Also the DJ Kicks stuff ^ and Another Late Night. Put the CD on and get some housework done or something.
  5. Sean Paul - We Be Burnin Faith Evans / Amerie - 1 Thing mash-up Snoop - Drop It LIke It's Hot Ciara feat Missy Elliot - 1 2 Step Amerie - 1 Thing (club remix) Lil Kim - Lighters Up (Instrumental & Vocal) http://www.sendspace.com/file/4xub36
  6. Deja Vu - Beyonce & Jay-Z. Hot bassline. http://www.sendspace.com/file/i5pwjh
  7. Try looking for some of these http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/char...2FHip-Hop+Songs
  8. Tony Loomin recorded phone conversations.
  9. Yup, that about summed it up for me when I used to play out weekly - no dance floor appeal = I wouldn't listen for more than a few bars. But the flipside for me was that all the other DJ mates I had would keep me in touch with whatever they were buying, so I still was able to expand my horizons, albeit not directly.
  10. Fuck all you poor motherfuckers, I'm getting ALL the consoles. PSP, DS Lite, Wii, X360, PS3, kick-ass PC. You are all n00bs compared to me!
  11. Signed up, going to have a browse to see what they got... Thanks for the heads up.
  12. Has the DS Lite been releasd in the UK? Or did you import it from online?
  13. Yeah, I reckon me and a mate might get a couple just to sell on for some cash. This happened when the XBox 360 came out, we had a chance to get one, but passed on it. Looks like pre-ordering is the way to go!
  14. For those of you that still have a 1.5FW PSP http://pspupdates.qj.net/Newer-UMD-Games-a...pg/49/aid/51671 I haven't tried it myself yet, but apparently you can boot ISOs as well as 2.0+ UMDs. Now watch the PSP ISOs warez pick up speed again.
  15. Oh man, it looks like this generation is up for grabs by either Nintendo or Microsoft. Sony have lost the plot.
  16. If Apple goes Windows, what is the point of Apple Computers? I say no, they'll never change OS.
  17. It would help if they printed which remix they were alluding to...
  18. Could be the media you got - cheap media usually = slow burning speeds. I got some cheap (but reliable) media that only burns at 2x in my 16X writer. I can't force it to go any faster. Similarly, I put a new (hackesd) firmware in my writer that lets me burn some 8x rated media at 12x.
  19. Tyra, have you checked your tracking? My Serato contact says it sounds like dodgy tracking. He also said to sign up and ask at the forum, if you haven't already.
  20. If you have an older version of Serato, it may come with the first version of the control vinyl (CV01). There was a manufacturing error with this batch, in that the motor they used when mastering the vinyl was not 'locked' (ie it had unusually high wow/flutter (can't remember which one)). In other words, the vinyl is buggered, and you get pitch drifting. They coded a software fix in later versions (check the setup page and click on 'Drift compensation'). Then there's the new control vinyl CV02 which fixed this problem. So if this is what you mean, then get some new control vinyl, and your problem should be fixed.
  21. Yup, I can vouch for them too. Got some hardware from them in the past too, a HDD and a DVD burner, keyboard, etc. Delivery's a bit slow with the cheaper options (ie a few days), but reliable, and they answer emails. Plus the reviews and recommendations they have are really helpful when it comes to picking which media to buy.
  22. "Sweet Magic" by Lee McDonald (Total guess btw)
  23. Damn dude, that's some ill file-naming. Dopeness.
