Started using azureus a few months ago. I only know of its basic functions. Where do i acquire this safepeer then? Now that you mention it, i find azureus shallow and pedantic!

What are you doing to me mike? I haven't slept in 24 hours and i ended up just leaving the loop on repeat for 2 hours until i realised it was still playing. I like the plingy noise at 1 second through this epic adventure. Love the lo-fi spacciness.

A VST is basically a plugin. They're either synths or effects that can be operated from within a host (fruityloops/logic/cubase). You might want to use them. Fruityloops synths get very boring, very fast.

Didn't realise. I've never actually bothered listening to pink floyd much. The times which i have done, i've been so caned that the next day i forget what he sounds like. I've even seen that pink floyd film while stoned and i can't even remember its name either.

I'm not a hip-hop fan at all so it all sounds the same to me *shrug* This doesn't sound like crap to me though so consider that a good thing.

Generally all music software has help files, however they only give descriptions to the basic functions of the program. The manuals, however are more thorough ... ... ... ... ... ... I think. Fruityloops is easy to use. Its made by Cakewalk, which as far as i know is american slang for piece of piss. Why don't you try this fruityloops tutorial site before you decide you need a manual? http://www.fltutorials.com/tutorials.htm It only goes over very basic functions but i guess fruityloops is for the most part. If you find any decent resources for reason then share the knowledge I haven't sat down to properly work it out yet.

The beatbox section isn't used that often. Beats to cut over wouldn't need to be kept separate from mixes and tracks if people labelled their posts to reflect the content within. Perhaps posts that contain beats to cut over could be titled starting with [] at the beginning so that people browsing through can quickly find some. I don't know. Just a suggestion. Feedback anyone else?

DV already has a lot of different sections, however i wouldn't mind seeing one especially for mixes/tracks that people have made. I agree with rygon. Edit: Rygon, if you don't close a bracket then the grammar goblins will get you and everything you say from now on will be in the context of that post In 10 years time you could write a crazy philosophical text which (unbeknownst to the people reading) will actually be reffering to a new DV section. Why not carry on? You enjoyed making it so far right? Personally i'd prefer it if it was a little more off-beat with the drums but its only a prototype i guess. If it was me making it, i'd get a female vocalist to add a few more layers to the vocals that are already there. They are the context of the tune so far and i can see many directions in which you could take it. Don't forget a funky bassline I hope my observations have been neither patronising or obvious. Why is the file called Pink Floyd?

I don't like tracks 2, 3 and 4 but afterwards it gets sweet. Nice work man
