    How do i play them?????
  5. I know a few people who use it on its own and their shit is awesome. They use it with an external sampler though. Its a pretty simple program to use but it won't work properly on my pc. All of the loops seem to shift out of time when i mess with stuff Can't fix it. In the past when it worked fine, i would use loads of different programs to make a tune and then clip the different components together in cakewalk.
  6. I just write them into the sequencer on FL. Mr. pot. Why have you gone mad?

    Reason 3.0

    Excellent. Thanks guys.
  11. Yeah, the animation is by David Firth i think. I never prefered squarepusher until i saw him live with his bass. Nutter! When he played "come on my selector" everyone just went so insane. It defeated any mosh-pit i've ever experienced.
  12. that was my favourite tune for about a year. He's got loads of great tunes kicking around.
  13. Aphex twin is the reason i stopped listening to metal. Bless him.

Been reading the manuals and slowly sinking my teeth into the new Reason. Any users out there who know whether you can import and loop WAV? I've been enjoying the program so far but i'll be very dissapointed if its not so. Can't find anything in the manuals about this.
  15. Squarepusher. He fucked that place up, haha. He was playing slap-bass so feckin fast and everyone was dancing like epileptics.
  16. They're not children!!!! They're monsters!!!
  17. Or instead of giving it a rest just tell yourself that you've quit for good. Then there's no pressure to take it back up. If there's one thing that inspiration loves, its no pressure, especially in a situation where stress has entered your musical lifestyle.

  19. Well i've worked out the whole CEP thing. It seems the drive decided to suddenly change from E:\ to F:\ even though i don't have any other devices that i'm using right now. Do i just type chkdsk in the "run" command? What is the chkdsk /f /r format thingy about? Also my external hd is 200 Gig capacity and its half full. My pc is falling apart so i might just format C:\ this weekend. Fresh start, ay
  20. I like it man. Cuts definately need to be louder. Some of it isn't as tight as it could be. Noticed this after around 1.20. Keep up the good work man.
  21. cgroove, i hope those pirates aren't gonna light that huge cig the wrong way round. I've seen loads of people on pills try that.
  22. A few problems i've been having recently which may have something to do with my external hard drive. First, i try using winDVD creator for the first time in ages to make a compilation dvd. The avi files were located in E:\ and so was the temp folder for the program. Half way through the burning process i kept getting errors saying that the files i was trying to copy had been deleted. I would then look for my hard drive in explorer only to find it had dissapeared. I would have to restart it to see anything again. This would only happen during a session of DVD writing in WinDVD. I don't have any other software for DVDs so i couldn't try another program. Decided to reinstall WinDVD. "Hooray" i thought, as i arrived back at my computer an hour later to find the DVD tray open and a message on my screen saying that everything was successful. Took the DVD downstairs to test it in the living room to find it was still blank. Went back upstairs and clicked "ok" in the "everything is dandy with your DVD" dialog box and then up pops a box saying "DVD authoring process failed due to some error". Some fucking error? This is all i've been getting from it recently. Problem 2: Cool edit pro uses my E:\ too as a primary temp folder because i've got a mass of free space on there. Since my little problems with WinDVD creator i wondered if my hard drive was fucking up so i decided to keep it turned off when i don't need it incase that helps. And so i keep opening cool edit without the E:\ on by accident. It comes up with a screen saying E:\ could not be found. Fair play. I turn it on and then restart cool edit pro. And just now i've come to my computer and started cool edit up and it refuses to believe that the hard drive is turned on. I've been trying for hours to sort it out and its having none of it. It won't even let me use C:\ for temp. I'm not sure whether all of these problems are completely due to my external hard drive. Is it on its way out already? Its only 4 months young.
