Sounds good. However I can't help feeling that its beating round the bush a little, but thats how i feel about 99% of D'n'B these days. The drums are heavy but to me they sound like a nutter stomping on his granny's kitchen table as opposed to an epileptic with thousands of yo-yos attached to his face and clothing - flailing arcs of neon plastic into every obstacle in his way. Perhaps he's in a china shop. But thats just the way i'd do it. At least it isn't a token beat. I've only just got out of that habit. I think at least, the synths need a little more variation in texture. Maybe mess with some other sounds interweaving with the melody. I'm a sucker for that shit

I followed the instructions carefully and nothing has changed. I'm still having trouble and drwtsn32 is still giving me grief. I even made sure that zonealarm was properly uninstalled too. Any ideas other than formatting my pc? Why do firewalls have to be a constant pain in the arse?

First off i'll say that i haven't been on here in ages because i've just started a media BTEC and i haven't been to college in about 4 years and i'm fookin nackered! Right. One morning i turned my pc on and it said the trial for Sygate Pro had ended so i uninstalled it and installed the free version. All of a sudden i'm getting horrible problems. For a start every time i open the program it says it has to close because of an error. Then when i click "don't send error report" it opens up anyway. Then my pc runs horribly slow and there's a process taking up approx. 70 - 90% CPU called Drwtsn32.exe. I think its full name is Dr. Watson Post-mortem Debugger and its listed under SYSTEM. When i end this then Sygate closes itself. I've tried reinstalling but to no avail. If anyone can help that would be smashing. Hehe Cheers.

I've been using cool edit pro for so long now and haven't ever used the multi-track mode before. I keep trying to put .wav files in so i can loop them but the BPM is wrong due to the BPM option at the bottom. Any way to get them to play at the BPM which they're already in? Also is there any way to get a grid on there which is set to a certain bpm? CEP should surely support a snap to grid function too. Are there any decent tutorials online that could run me through this, plus more about using the multi-track mode in CEP?

Go to start menu and run msconfig. On the tab to the far right you should be able to set what runs on startup using tick boxes.

As soon as i'd posted this i went off and found check disk and ran it. Took about 2 and a half hours but it found the corrupt file that was fucking the index and removed it. Must've been this 1 corrupt file because it began with J and thats where everything vanished.

In my mp3 folder everything after H is gone Even folders after H have gone. How do i check that the disk is stable? EDIT: All of the tunes that are past H still work in winamp. I just can't find them when i browse.

No one can explain to me what the last number in a time sig is. Not even grade 8 pianists All the musicians i know just seem to stumble when i ask them this. They just can't give an example or explain. Can anyone help me out on this?
