I think this is an option (I'm not sure, tho), but I don't own a mini dv (or dv) so I couldn't tell...

I have problems capturing copy protected vhs tapes (macrovision, such as dmc tapes) to my hd.I use an AVerDVD EZMaker WDM Video Capture card and WinDVDCreator 2 for software. Either the card or the software detect the protection and refuse to continue recording after 7 seconds.While all my unprotected tapes are captured perfectly, I still have a shitload of protected ones that I need to convert to dvd. Any suggestions? Would a cheap tv card (which one?) solve the problem?

DMC 3 has some very bright moments. I gave up GTA after one hour of play, but then again I'm an adventure-horror fanatic, so GTA ain't my piece of cake.DMC 3 is better than DMC 2, though.
