@ Vekked and Jon: Supremacy is a brilliant idea if you look at the bright side of it. It originally started as an attempt to revive the famous NMS battles. Mind you, back in the day an NMS title was more prestigious than a DMC one. It's the delivery nowadays that's poor and is ruining an otherwise very innovative and quick type of dj battle. And if you look at it from the business side I don't think it has done any good to DMC during the last years as the venue is close to half empty and the atmosphere is nowhere near to the world finals.The people who were there know what I'm talking about when I say 'half-empty'. I believe they're trying to push the showcase a bit too much and maybe they should come up with ideas that would motivate more djs to enter. But let me tell you something:with the exception of Sally most of the DMC people have lost interest and this is the sad truth...

Like Jon said, I was sitting upstairs in the balkony and was really shocked by the level of the supremacy battles. It all was so 'juicy' back in the day, competitors and crowd wise. I believe they should stop Supremacy before it becomes a mere shadow of the past and something to lol at. Vekked's review is on point. And wait till you watch the uk team...then i need a second review. Most teams sound lost, confused and pointless with very few exceptions. Maybe DMC should reconsider the two separate days schedule and go for an all dayer so that more people could attend and things might be more interesting. Maybe replace Supremacy with a Scratching battle (but then that would 'bite' ITF/IDA, wouldn't it...?). Note: I should reconsider collecting supremacy dmc dvds...check

I believe that CloneCD (not CloneDVD) is a more secure software option when it comes to burning back-ups.I have never had failed with it.And Verbatim is the only 100% secure medium, I second that.On the other hand I always use ImgBurn for burning wii games.

A mod-chipped wii is salvation.Tons of free games to d/l from the net.Not that the modded 360, psp, ps2 and ds are any worse, it's just that wii is more fun sometimes.

That's it... Steve, my Torq has a lot of problems from time to time. Two friends of mine are selling theirs in order to switch to ssl or traktor scratch. I own most of the systems in the market (ssl, torq, mixvibes, traktor scratch, virtual vinyl - I'm actually testing them) and I can confirm Torq has given me the most problems and headaches. What I usually do is reinstall version 1.0.2 and recheck all cables and ground wirings (I once discovered a loose ground cable was the root of the problem). Nowadays it works fine for me. Plus, the conektiv soundcard works perfectly with mixvibes, so I can run both systems without having to plug/unplug anything.

@Mr.Dee: I had my xbox modded by the guy who I used to buy copy games from, but unfortunately I haven't talked to him for a while and it's impossible to track him now as he's away on holiday with no mobile.If it helps I bought it in March (but I still wouldn't know for how long it was on stock in the shop). Thanks for your replies. the reason I modded it is that I can't afford the og games at the prices they're being sold here at the moment (70 euros +). It wasn't signed to xbox live before I had it modded, so do I have any chances to get away with it? How can I see what firmware it's now upgraded to? Other than playing a few games I haven't spent any time with the machine, so I have no idea what's going on.

Please excuse my ignorance and sorry if this has been discussed before: I've modded (motherboard flashed, not chipped) my 360. Is it now impossible to sign-in to Xbox Live ? Am I fucked? Please enlighten a brother.

Hey Hertzworth, Siya forwarded your mail to me.I remember having noticed a similar problem about ten months ago, but I now tried two different prox faders in 4 different Vestax mixers and they were ok. MAke sure you do all the required maintenance, clean it with clear spirit (or something like isopropilik alcohol) and see if still dooes it.The fader itself is not digital, so the digital noise you get is not explainable.Maybe move the cable that connects the fader to the circuit.The prox is a great fader, so maybe the root of evil is somewhere else.Maybe.Keep me informed.
