if you get one NOW, it will probably have 2.0 on it... i bought one last wk. whenever i type something in a box when im in explorer or whateva program a list of everything ive typed will come up. for eg, lets say im doing a search for "scratching" yahoo... then in the yahoo search field, everything search ive tried to do starting with the letter S in the past will come up. i need to turn this off cuz i keep getting busted surfin for porn from my gf!! lol its fuck cuz she done a search for something that started with P then all my old "paris hilton xxx" searches came up where she was typing. anyone help me out????????????

technics are shit imo. ive got vestax pdx mk2s, rane 56, tascam xs8 (brand new, wanna sell), and i got a qfo. using shures and qbert ortofons! scratchers dream setup! (well my dream setup anyways hehe)

each to their own i guess, its just personal preferences, some people like technics, others like vestax. personally, i think the qbert needles are dope for just scratching. they dont kill your records if set up right (any needle will kill your records if not set up right). they look alot better to! me, im using one on the qfo and i can play my qfo ALMOST UPSIDE DOWN and the thing still tracks well!!! tell me, what frickn needle can do that?

probably, shure are probably spewing that qbert isnt endorsing their product anymore. dont matter really cuz they have a good rep anyways. but for me the ortofons track better

not to sure where you get all this cue burn cuz my records seem fine. im using a brand new super seal aswell. shit, if shure is gunna test them, dont u think they will be a little biased? anyways, they might not suit everyone but for me, they track better, they sound just as good as the shures and they arnt eating my records so shit ill use em. btw, if your one of those people who use a technics with the weight reversed and pulled back a notch, expect q burn with any needle. if you set these needles up with 3 grams of weight they shouldnt eat your records.

just an update on this post, i bought them purely cuz i heard they track better and they look alot better than the shures... my findings are they track another 35% better than the 447s and they sound about the same. also the fact they are a concord shape makes it easy to see the grooves. they are well worth it!!! (takes a bit of wearing in like anything. best if u get a swamp locked tone, put a tonne of weight on the headshell and leave it looping for about 30 mins.) does the trick no prob!

yeh ive never seen a mixer that can do that bar the technics one. i know the sound u mean, when u put down all the levels it makes a hollow type sound.
