I do like listening to AHhhh files sometimes just to get ideas or whatever, or see how people are progressing. But yeah, then just delete them and go and listen to some 'real' music.. And to be honest a lot of the really simple cuts done in commercial hip hop are a lot more listenable than listening to Tigerstyle do a million 3 clicks in a 'combo' that has no funkiness or much musicality to me.... Both not really true, no digital system has latency this low (total system latency) Stanton deliberately mislead with their figures for FS2 latency, this best latency at the moment is Serato where you can down to about 7ms TOTAL latency which in my opinion is not noticable at all. And serato has recently been cracked, it is by far the best interface/software but you might as well bite the bullet and buy the whole system as the Rane box is built like a tank, and the whole thing really isn't that expensive.

I guess I wasn't that clear - that link is a price in pounds for a Fujitsu laptop that doesn't seem available outside of europe, I want something of a similar spec over here but there really doesn't seem to be anything comparible for the price which seems weird. I want a laptop as i move about quite a lot and laptops should (in theory) be fast enough these days to do everything I need.

Except.... I'm now in Canada which I thought might be cheaper than England but in fact seems a rip off. The only vaguely comparable laptops seem to be that horrible looking acer ferrari thing or something by 'emachines' which looks shit too. Does anyone have any ideas where to get good, well priced, fast laptops here or America (new york) as I might have to take a road trip there. Also nowhere in America seems to want to ship here, it's a pain.
