  1. Pretty clever too, I like. Nice one.
  2. I think the sizes range from 9 - 11 dependant on which style. There is only one size of each style tho if you get what I'm saying. Once everything's up I'll post some links for y'all. PS. I've got the Dark Horse Adicolor Shoes in 9 and Jacket in L if anybody's looking for a high visability outfit for those dark winter nights! Both unworn, brand new, boxed. pz
  3. Hope this isn't too off topic but my man's just asked me to help sell off his collection of brand new trainers. He's got the whole Adidas Superstar Series (I think) eg: He's got pretty much the whole range of Adicolor shit although he might be holding that 'till next year... He's also got a load of Nike's eg: .......and loads more that I can't find pics of like the Stussy Butterscotch Air Force 1's? (Is that the right name?!) He's got Bapesta's and shit as well. Anyways, I'll once I've got shit together with his website and that (maybe a week tops) I'll post up some details. Sorry for the thread Hi-jakc but I thought you guys might be interested. I just wish those Roccafella's were in a UK 9 pz
  4. A +8 pitch adjustment on a turntable increases the speed of the platter rotation by 8 revolutions per minute. So..........if your table is set to 45 at 0 and the BPM of the tune is 95 and you were to set the pitch adjustment to +8 the increase in BPM would be worked out as follows: (bpm) / (rpm) * (pitch increase) 95 / 45 * 8 = 16.888888888888888888888888888889 So, the BPM of the tune played at +8 is 111.88888888888888888888888888889 I take it that this is what you're getting at Gabe? pz
  5. I recently got an MPC2000 off my man Cocka Gee that's pretty battered and I need some new buttons for it. Now when I say buttons I mean the plastic face of the buttons as opposed to the actual electronic component. I could also do with a cap for the note variation slider and caps for the REC and MASTER pots. Does anybody know of a place where I might be able to buy these parts? btw. I've heard that AKAI aren't great at supplying such items so contacting them doesn't seem to be an option worth exploring. Cheers in advancio yo, pz
  6. Ed mang, cheers for the advice but I'm installing this on my Mam's computer so I'm a bit dubious about fucking with torrents. @ Liam - I'll give that a go, cheers mang. pz
  7. Surely the BPM stretch is relative to the true BPM of the song. Speeding up a 90bpm song by 1% would lead to a smaller overall increase in bpm than say a 110bpm song with a 1% pitch increase. So, in conclusion, I'm not sure what you're getting at! Can you explain what you mean a bit more thoroughly dood?
  8. I've currently got: Soundforge Acid Emu 1820m Linn LM-2 MPC2000 S32000 Focusrite Penta SPL Vitalizer My 3 most wanted additions: Analog desk (might be copping a Soundcraft Ghost of my man on the cheapness) Access Virus Indigo A small midi keyboard Can anybody reccomend a midi keyboard that's nice and cheap? I want it to be pretty small but with fullsize keys but I don't need any sliders or knobs or owt like that.
  9. Did I mention that I hate PC's more than anything in the entire world? lol!
  10. I'm setting up a new PC for my folks that they bought from Dell. It came with some BULLSHIT Dell media player which I've removed because it was utter SHIT! I've tried to get PowerDvD down but can only seem to get a trial version. The computers also got media center installed but I need the DvD codec, can I get it for free somewhere? Cheers in advance, pz
  11. Mattnice, have you ever wanted to start scratching? It seems weird that you're into Hip-Hop, making beats and spend time on what is primarilry a scratch forum but you don't scratch.....or maybe you do scratch?! pz
  12. Cable, if you can find a made in Japan 07 then get that for sure. I picked one up in Leeds last week for £125. Shazam!
  13. I was pricing up a PC to match the spec of a MPC3000 not an MPC500, my bad. A laptop with a midi controller would be chea per than an MPC500 A PC with all the shit to bring it up to MPC3000 spec would cost about the same as a mint MPC3000.
  14. If you want a toy to play with on the bus you should buy a Gameboy. If you want a professional sampling drum machine you should buy an MPC3000.
  15. Cheaper computer alternative = A decent PC = Let's say about £500? 8x 8 Out soundcard with Digital I/O etc = at least £300 2 x 4 midi device = about £50? MPD16 = £79 = £929 Well cheap :s pz
  16. I'm trying to get my shit together at the mo.... 6 months I went and dropped about £800 on a fly new PC with an EMU1820M soundcard. I was running a load of soft synths for bass bleeps and bloops, Soundforge for sample editing, FL studio for programming beats and soft synth riffs, then finally Acid for arranging all the audio. I'd look at my PC and think to myself "I've got a fully featured music production studio for £800!" 2 months ago my bro lent me his MPC3000. A month later he came and picked it back up. Now I look at my PC and think to myself "I've got a hard disk recorder with with 1 stereo 24bit 192khz input for £800".
  17. I've calmed down a bit now. May a recommend that nobody ever offers to set up BT Broadband for their parents! pz
  18. Is it just me or does everbody else think that browsers like BT Internet or Toolbars like Yahoo are UTTER SHITE?! Why the FUCK would ANYBODY want to waste half of their screen on some BULLSHIT that you don't need? PHEW, that feels better! pz
  19. Word Lorn, I'm certain you're music will benefit from experimenting with as many styles as possible. Your music seems to me to have improved with every new peice you make. Keep it up mang! pz
