  6. Clown - go to www.mpctutor.com for a run down on the differences. they are both v. good machines, the 1000 has the edge in terms of convenience (e.g. flash card storage pc interface) but the 2000 is still the more powerful machine once fully expanded. MPC TUTOR

  18. buy a usb midi interface. a 1x1 should only be about £25 (less second hand)
  19. from what you're saying it should work..... MIDI automation was missing from the first release of SX2 and external hardware support was a bit shit as well - so make sure you have the latest version. also tell us what you are using as a controller (i.e. make model). also check that the track isn't in 'read' mode as it will ignore anything you do if this is the case.
