  1. what it do? the second big l album wasn't a classic to be exact. A few nice joints but no match to the first album. Somebody should make a legit release of the pre-first album cuts like "I shoulda used a rubber", "School dayz", "Times is hard on the boulevard" and all that coz the bootlegs floating around are crap for the most part. I'd rather have that than some nifty scent grave desecration shit.

    AVI/Xvid

download k-lite codec pack, then you can play em in windows media player or winamp. vlc player plays those fine all the time too.
  3. I picked this up a few days ago, shit's fresh. snippets
  4. word, I can't wait to finally receive the LP in the mail. Comes with the bonus picture 7" too.
  5. yeah, it's the second freestyle on the ned hoddings set
  6. loop it from the dvd, just like I and many others did.
  7. damn... I just got Donuts in the mail. R.I.P.
  8. I'm down for this. Might try some shit during the weekend
  9. I need to give this a listen when I get home. There's a lot of spectulation on Doom's board about this: http://mfdoom.headringer.net/viewforum.php?f=8 What it done?
  10. don't sleep on Frankenstein. It's a shame he hasn't put out anything in the last five years. Also Saukrates' old releases are super fresh. Look for The Underground Tapes, The Brick House EP... I like the early Rascalz and Choclair releases too. Thrust and Solitair got some nice stuff too. Wasn't Main Source originally from Toronto? And yeah, Sixtoo is dope, I like Pip Skid's stuff too and the other stuff on the Peanuts & Corn label. DJ Moves, McEnroe... and Real-izm, good lookin out on working with Nish Rawks! The tracks he did on the first DJ Serious album are heat!
  11. they should rather change their name to enema... where's napalm death? where's carcass? where's extreme noise terror? Black Sabbath anyone? Motörhead?
  12. when I heard it the first time back then I was extremely disappointed coz I was listening to 36 chambers and the solo albums all the time. I listened to it again with some distance and it grew on me. I still prefer the first album and the solo albums tho.
  13. sounds good. however I'll stay absent from doing mix shows for a while coz I got a mix to do for a CD release. Also got my Midi keyboard yesterday and want to start on production. and I finally want to get started on the collab track whether it ever materializes or not.
  14. yup, you gotta swap the pitch and the buttons around. Swapping the cables won't work because one of them is too short. it could be extended relatively easily but I never got around to do it.
  15. Blockhead Sixtoo Piano Overlord (aka Prefuse) Diplo's "Florida" album Kruder & Dorfmeister Herbaliser (not really downtempo) DJ Signify Elektro 4 Controller 7 GB Sound in Color MU.SIC compilation most of the Bully Rec. releases...

    Ace is back

    ACE IZ WILD!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I've had my TTXs for three years or something and they're good. The only problem I had was that the controller on the motor board died on one turntable. It was easily fixed tho (total cost about $7). Other than that, I can't complain. This hybrid thing looks nice. I'd rather go for something like Final Scratch or Serato tho.
  18. I got my 56, that's all I need really. The channel assignable effects loop looks interesting. I didn't like the look of the newer 56s to compared to the old ones. Looks like they built on that design.
  19. werd... either plug-n-play steez or you pop in the driver cd and go from there.
  20. I can do both but battle style is way better for cutting and mixing in my opinion as the needle doesn't get in the way. people like Woody, Sinista and Rob Swift have it left table battle style and right table regular style. yeah, just do whatever feels best to you.
  21. nah, I was just sharing my thoughts on matt's beat, it's nice! personally I think flipfliop's beat is the most suitable for a track, the way it's built etc.. I like Dissonance's beat a lot too. Not to take anything away from the others, I like all the beats but flipflop's and disso's beats were my favorite. My beat production is still pretty non existant, so (un)fortunately I can't post some myself. what about marcel cartier rappin tho?
  22. mattnice on the kungfu hustle/paesano steez! any word on the rapper I posted a freestyle of? yay or ghey?
  23. not hip hop, but anyway...
