    TTTV

for those interested, I can hook you up with all Turntable TV episodes except Vol.5. Anyone interested, contact me for a trade or anything similar. There are things I want for my car from the US, some records... everything is possible.
  2. their first album and the 12"es before that were dope but the second album was wack, in my opinion. Don't like Promoe's stuff either. Plus he seems to be a strange guy. A friend of mine once set up a festival where they played and Promoe asked for body guards!
  3. Some Babu solo tracks here: Suckas: http://s23.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2HCZJMJ...1O335TQGZ8M042P I've Always Wanted To Be A DJ: http://s22.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1YWAJJ1...C92NPPRKKBYQFJV Sorry: http://s22.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2PKUFCC...TP0UL67X8VXKDWQ That's all I could come up with right now. All those tracks were made around 97, I believe.
  4. other cool shit from chicago that I know of is Infinito, Vakill and the whole Molemen collective. MC Juice is nice too.
  5. my latest picks: Exile 12" on Sound in Color Sa-Ra-Blak Label Band 12" also on SIC and I just won Quasimoto's "Broad Factor" 12" on ebay. I have to cut down on buying records tho as almost all of my money wanders into my car. But that state is not gonna last forever, that's the good thing.
  6. Most of Kanye's beats that I heard I didn't like but I gotta say that "This Way" on the latest Dilated album is one of the better tracks. Neighborhood Watch is weak overall, the beats are weak (I think you should blame the Alchemist for that), the cuts are weak for the most part. I think there is one good track on there from what I remember. I can't understand why Babu did only half-assed cuts throughout the album when he brought the funk on tracks like "On Deadly Ground" or "Downtown"
  7. I'll put it up later. Hey, you want the vocal version or the instrumental?
  8. No, it's just a low quality audio file. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah, just the audio for now. I've tried some software to rip the video but was not successful so far.
  9. you could simply buy a tool case for your mixer and buy a used flightcase for the records. there's an army store in my town that sells bags that are perfect for like 20-30 records. I don't know the price of the Noisy Stylus bag but I can imagine you would come off cheaper buying a tool case and a used flightcase, let alone your shit would be protected way better.
  10. I guess Yoga is way better than that nowadays. Remember that was recorded in 96 or something. But yeah, his cuts ain't amazing in that file. I'll try my luck with ripping the video when I get home from work.
  11. well, can't remember it anyway right now. It's been a while since I last watched those videos. Here's the linkage for the Yoga/Q-Bert 4-Bar massacre... http://s26.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2K3CMFX...VI15D5PJKBFTCVM
  12. nah, that's in Turntable TV 7. It's a Q&A session with Q-Bert. 10 minutes trading 4 bars. I will try and rip the video tomorrow. I'm uploading the audio right now. It's 4 bars each and Yoga starts off.
  13. OK, what's the best way to rip from a DVD? The best thing I could think of is TMPGEnc but it will take ages. I can post up the audio for now, can get that done within a matter of minutes.
  14. yeah, there's some real scratching of him in Turntable TV 2. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> are you sure??? i'm gonna have a look see tonight, when you say TTv do you mean the Annual 2 or can't remember name of second one oh, Reverse oyster beard <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, TTV2 is very rare. You are highly unlikely to find it. He does cut in that vid though. Haven't seen it myself but I have all the other TTV's. One of the only bits of scratching I've seen him do is in the Wave Twisters movie. He does a rubbish twiddle pattern. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm talking about Turntable TV 2: Lunar Butt. I have the video. I'm currently ripping the part where Yoga cuts and will post here when I'm done. Pic and sound quality is pretty bummer tho.
  15. yeah, there's some real scratching of him in Turntable TV 2.
  16. you need a voltage converter for the power supply. these things are like $10. As for the warranty, forget about it. No big deal tho as the mixer should work perfectly for years if you treat it well. I bought mine in the US too back in the day and haven't had a problem with it since three years now.
  17. yeah, he released an album called "Blast Radius" some time ago. I also have an instrumental EP by him which is pretty cool.
  18. can't forget Gravediggaz-6 feet deep

  20. yeah, I can imagine an Ecler ProFader will fit in a Vestax but why? The only dope Ecler fader is the eternal one, so i thought you attempted to do that.
  21. 2 Numoark TTXs Rane TTM 56 1 Vestax PDX 2300 Pioneer DJM 707 Boss RC-20 XL Dunlop Crybaby Boss RPS-10 I'll post up pics when I can borrow my friend's camera.
  22. shit's been asked a zillion times before on all sorts of boards... the answer is still no unless you want to put in a shitload of work. you'd be better off by just buying a Rane or Ecler mixer instead of trying to mod one of those faders in a Vestax.
