yeah, I have it like this. looks way better in my opinion. kinda old school but the xp style is horrible.

word, the start menu on xp is friggin ugly. I also don't like the look of the windows and all that. reminds of the pdx design. the classic look I meant is basically like Win2K or NT. No 3.11 steez for me.

I'm looking for a black theme resembling the classic windows look, like the window frames and all. The "modern" XP looks like shit, just like a PDX looks shit next to a 1200, you know? I found lots of themes through google but a lot is probably spyware infested and whatnot. Anyone know a safe source for a "classic" black theme?

aight, so in that case, just use Nero or WinonCD or any of these. In Nero, you can change the settings in files/preferences and then general settings whatever it's called in the English version (exit the express/wizard mode for this). if you want to burn 90 mins or 99 mins CDs make sure your writer can handle it.

I agree to a certain extent but then again some scratch heads are also stuck on music that is older than the people themselves, like 70s Jazz. As for the current Hip Hop scene, there is still good stuff out there but there's nothing like the classics. Next week's radio show will have Hip Hop old to new and some Downtempo and scratch shit.

yeah, the technics mixer's eqs are kinda unique. I haven't run across a mixer that could do the same filtering with the wah effect.

streambox ripper will do the job as well. it's freeware.

go to your soundcard config and choose "what you hear" or "wave" as input. play the looper and record the beats. then trim everything together.

jus record the beats in audition or anything similar and loop em up or burn em to a cd or some shit.
