I bought a second hand Traktor Z2 and I just noticed that the crossfader stem is slightly bent. Does anyone know if this is a user replaceable part? I'd like to know that answer before I attempt to bend it back, haha.

The DJ's include Freddie Joachim, Question and myself and theres a good mix of jazz breaks, soul, hiphop, etc. If you dig it, you should check the rest of the vinyl podcasts that Freddie and Question have done. Hey guys, long time no post, hope everyone is doing well. Rane posted up the top 5 videos today and my video made the cut. The article on DJTT's talks about how theres a little lag on the crossfader cut when using traktor as opposed to an analog source.. thats an interesting side effect of this "hybrid mixer" concept. Like they said, it wont matter to most people unless your a "hardcore scratcher". I mean really, if its good enough for craze, is it really something people would notice? im in the same boat as steve, but the fact that the 62 has an effects board built in (so you can use post fader effects on vinyl), the fader issues and the build quality (plastic pots on the z2 yet they claim they built it so you can throw it against a wall? lol) have me swayed in the 62's favor at this point.

is serato better at it then mixmeister? thats what ive been using

how much do those things cost?

i was tryin to lay stuff down just right now, but the loop is too slow for the vocal samples i had in mind. Being that I have techs, i dont have the option of slowing down the samples enough and the only other option is to cut on 45 which leads me to sound like rucker. ill keep trying to look for other samples.

i can make a demo vid, but the angles wouldnt be ideal as my working area is cramped. that and im sure im not the ideal candidate to demonstrate some of these scratches (comparably). but i do have an hd cam, so let me know if no one else can make it
