  1. Answer to the top pic is poppers! No reply for the second one, still laughing at the guy with the Luis spence stance!
  2. they do a 2x2 which may help a bit, think they do a 1x2 aswell could stack them if they do. the 2x4 should be stored 4 high 2 wide or the strength is lost, due to the design. You dont want 200 odd records resting on 4 bits of 4mm dowell! id imagine you could modify them easily enough but you will have to cut both long pasrts and drill 4 holes. in the top & bottom
  3. I like the pioneer headphones for mixing. The pricey metal ones. Don't judge me, I have this £60.00 pair of sony's (XB1000) and they sound fucking amazing and are comfy as! I'd say better than the pioneers, but they are shit for mixing.
  4. I used the same material that we use to put over the grooves on new stampers, its basically like the film you get on the screen on a new mobile phone. Its sort of sticky on one side, but not like a sticker that leaves the sticky bit on the surface when removed. Its been on my 08 about 6 months and its still perfect, only thing it is a blue not a clear material. My mixer is about 1-2 mm thick, (top plate) if anyone wants theirs done, PM me.
  5. Most good mastering houses will recut if your not happy. But it'll have to be their fault, if the bass is too low for the overall sound or comes in too late etc then I'd assume thats your fault. If its distorted etc they should fix it. These are one off 'cuts', not 'presses'. The clue is in the name, records are pressed in a press, dubplates or lacquers are cut on a lathe. A dubplate is an im-perfect lacquer & fragile as fuck! I believe those scratchable dubplates are cut onto polycarbonate laxen. A dubplate wouldn't really work as good as its an aluminium disc coated with a thin lacquer layer - very soft, scratches very easily & quite heavy. I give a lacquer about two weeks use use scratching! Depends on who cuts it and what they cut it on etc (how well it'll sound)... Lacquers, which are not supposed to be played, sound fucking amazeballs though, but once you played it its fucked, cant do anything with it (pressing wise).
  6. I only use vinyl. There no comparison really. "When the world turns to shit and waterworld becomes reality, I can still play my records, what the fuck are you going to do with an I pod/PC with a dead battery?" To me its a bit like, MP3s, are like shit knock offs, like the dvd man that comes in the pub... Great for a £1, but the picture is fuzzy and someone will get up and walk out halfway through . Or think how does a KFC compare to a manky halal 'sams chicken'. Or hash to the highest grade hydroponics?
  7. That Woman looks like Skyler from breaking bad after she used some of the product.
  8. Butterflies in hell (cant remember bside name but its sick) on citrus recordings, Whenever I listen to it, it makes me shart!
  9. At one DMC I attended, Tony Prince came on screwing that some cuntish courier had nicked the gold turns and mixer. Unlucky for the winner, christmas for the driver. ...couple of years later I meet the bloke that actually has them, the lucky bastard!
  10. North - West London (Ruislip) Is anyone going from this sort of way that I could jump in with, can pay with cash, ganj or a free battle record?
  11. A swift but firm karate chop to the middle of the tone arm would soon change his perspectives ! "GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL LLLLAAAAZZZIIIIIIOOOOOOO"
  12. I think record day (for the buyers) is shit, way too many people. Good idea for record stores though.
  13. Glad your all enjoying it peopes. Thanks for the constructive critisism, it almost certainly will help make the next edition better. When I made this record I made it kind of blind. I wasn't sure what to expect, how the sound would cut to vinyl, the mixdown levels etc, it was sort of a personal goal. Even the etch was my first attempt like that, in the runout. I don't have any form of DVS to try it out prior to cutting either. I had to make some decisions and live with them. Overall, I'm happy with it. Watch out for the next Edition !
  14. Nice one Symatic, I'll give it a go... Yeah, had some Aqua's done to make up the last of the numbers.
  15. I got some more of my MOW's in Aqua today, pretty sexy! If you want one let me know.
  16. Hi Fellow Scratch Junkies! I am back in business! This time in AQUA. They are (literally) HOT off the press from this afternoon, check this shit out! (Can anyone help me upload an image?) So if any of ya will be wantings? Hit me up. Peace.
  17. Hahahahahahaha, why? The tunes shit, dogshit! ...Both of em! Fair enough if its an audio snippet from an obscure film... But its practically the whole tune, its hardly under the radar !
  18. Looks like he's sucking from a straw, not blowing, shit just got deeeep!
  19. The beatles are not my sort of thing, but I can appreciate what they did for the music industry. They smashed it, and only a few people have come close. They were the top of the game when record sales were at their highest, its like Adele or someone like that ruleing the MP3 sales now. If you think they are shit, imagine your bought justin beibers LP, that muggy little twatty fuckwit justin beiber's record is probably in the same 'POP' section. I don't get it? This guy, who purchases only the beatles white album, is great news, all this means to me is if he went in the shop before me, there is no way he's taking what I want, cos I aint buying that LP!
  20. Coloured records are supposed to sound worse than black discs (although this difference is very slight, hardly unrecognizable), This is because black PVC granules are made specifically for vinyl records, whereas coloured (clear/natural) is not. Coloured PVC is aimed at ANYTHING, It could be used to make plastic cups right through to DVD boxes & lunchboxes etc, Its just 95% clear PVC with about 5% colour pigment added. On paper the only bad point to coloured discs is that it tends to have a slightly higher surface noise level, but I bet you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference. The other issue, as someone already mentioned is that its hard to see the grooves, this tends to be worse with the light colour discs, darker colours are easier to see.... Oh, I am getting some of my Battle record pressed in a colour, most likley aqua and clear with glitter in. PM me and I'll send you the details once they are pressed...
  21. That guy looks like a white man that's been 'blacked' out ! ...Not being racist or anything....
  22. Oh shit, thats my record! Yep, they have all gone. For the mean time, I'm having some more made up to complete the run, but I cannot tell you when that will be. I am taking pre-orders (for the remaining editions), this is the only way of securing yourself a copy. However I wouldn't want to speculate on a shipping date. (maybe a month - month and half) Its etched on one side and hand stamped with your limited edition (out of 250x) number, optionally, & your DJ name or a short message, its some sexy shit! One side is made up of 20 skipless tracks, consisting of scratching effects/tones etc and battle ready sentences. The Bside is made up of 15 odd minutes of all the best battle ready samples and tones effects etc, one after the other (not skipless) its ideal for a battle or question and answer situation, as you can switch things up really quick. Its got loads of stuff on there and if your into scratching it really is a must have, if not only for reference / sampling purposes. If any of you would like to purchase either please email me at goldielocksnthethreebrares@aol.com Or head over to my mans Honna's : www.tablist.net where you can purchase/pre-order your copies. Thanks & Enjoy!
