  1. Howdy Scratchy People, I recently got my hands on a couple of the new mics from Aston and have written a review, with audio examples of them alongside a range of other popular microphones, might be of interest to those who like recording etc. You can read the full review at http://homestudiodoctor.co.uk/equipment/aston-microphones/ Cheers
  2. +1 for computers being cunts... It's the trackpad one a laptop that causes me much pain (and touchscreen phone). Having a trackball has definitely helped.
  3. I found my GP has been pretty crap for this, I've had physio that reduces the pain for a short time but someone at the Musicians Union told me about BAPAM, they offer free consultations to musicians (my pains are drum machine related). I'm off to see a specialist today. I'll let you know how I get on.
  4. Air Windows do a bunch of free plugs... http://www.airwindows.com/category/free/
  5. I know I can change BPM and time sig from master clips, I specifically want a follow action in that track so I can do it with ought having to manually trigger. I'll look into those options though, thanks
  6. Not that I'm aware of. I've always wanted Ableton to implement time sig and tempo changes via master scenes on follow actions but it's still not happening. It's not in any Beta versions either. Anyway, sorry for the thread derail, I just like telling people that in the hope that it will create a massive movement of people who want the feature implemented. A bit like the Million Man March or the Peasants' Revolt but with more people wearing glasses.
  7. But will they implement proper Follow Actions for master scenes...
  8. Just copped the delay.... I'll let them off 8 minutes...
  9. Agreed, I wasn't initially going to grab (due to overuse in the past) and then thought I'd use it on something.... That's sometime out of my life I won't get back. Isotope owe me 15 minutes, which is worth more than the plugin IMO. I like Bus Driver though.
  10. Alas Arp are no more... I guess Korg would be a good bet seeing as they're doing a 'new' Arp. Hmm... Havent Arp merged with Oberhiem or something ? Im sure there were some new models unveiled at this years NAMM show that i saw online quite recently. please correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that is the case ..... It's Korg I believe... I heard Behringer were even making a version. It makes me shudder just to think... As a side note, I think Behringer pre amps and DIs were invented by the Rothchilds and they put bad frequencies in everyones minds. If everyone stopped buying them we could end world famine.
  11. I could but I'm always wary of that place, whilst there are no doubt quite a few folks who know what they're talking about, there are hundreds more who don't! Still, could give it a try....

  13. It's in bad need of a service, the keyboard tracking has gone but I don't know anyone I trust to fix it. I have a few friends who have had horror stories with synth repairs.... I don't suppose any of you folks know anyone who could help?
