After one week and maybe 6-7 hours of scratching using the Tonar I must say it's pretty equal to the OG N-44-7. 4 grams seems to be the sweet spot for my clumsy scratching.

That is a great deal. Do you accept Tesco vouchers?
-
Thanks. The Jico are very expensive. 104€ compared to 44€ for a pair or tonars (with shipping). I will try a pair of Tonar I think

unwanted static/noise using rane ttm-56 master/cue button
Backtrack replied to everg's topic in EQUIPMENT & AUDIO PRODUCTION
You should not overdo with the deoxit. A good clean now and then is good. I would say I go over my mixers every 4 year if they are in use. I also dont have any mixer covers and my place has a lot of pets so there is dust and hairs everywhere. The proper way of cleaning is to take the mixer apart and clean everything with isopropanol. Then you should apply some contact spray. If you like deoxit use D5. For fader rails I suggest to use a small amount of teflon spray. That is also what rane recommends. -

Smallest Midi controller for pdx 3000
Backtrack replied to sqratchsac's topic in EQUIPMENT & AUDIO PRODUCTION
No..You need a 5pin midi out for it to work. Or you have to have a usb midi interface also and pass it though a computer https://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_midi_usb_1x1.htm?ref=intl&shp=eyJjb3VudHJ5IjoiZ2IiLCJjdXJyZW5jeSI6IjIiLCJsYW5ndWFnZSI6ImVuIn0%3D&glp=1 -

So sad. I dont want to switch back to ortofon again. I would buy and test the Jico if the shipping wasn't so expensive. -

-
Yea... That would be nice but they are about 200€ more

I think the PT-S has DC in and Original PT has AC in. That is why the schematic is not the same That diode is prob circuit protection for the voltage regulator when batteries also installed. Thats my guess... I think a 1N4004 should work for you.
