  1. hi, thanks for the shout and advice- can relate to animal hair but try to keep my stuff covered up I've been using caig lube on my fader rails for awhile now, works good rane was a good company, not sure about now I remember I could just call them up and chat they'd send me free stuff, fader caps, stickers, etc. thanks again
  2. hi all thanks for your suggestions I'm pleased to report that the deoxit seemed to work I did a few passes with it and worked the button some came back a little while later and it was much better! only just a faint pop sound now also hit a few other pots while I was in there I'm now wondering deoxit comes out as liquid it doesn't pool or attract gunk where I spray it? can I do multiple applications over minutes, hours, days without ill effects? should I be using it regularly to maintain my mixer, or just when it seems necessary? kind of funny I should be asking these questions literally over a decade after I first bought the stuff, but hey thanks again-
  3. hi all I've seen others helped on this forum about this mixer thankful for any ideas here like the title says, when I engage the master/cue button, I get a little crackling noise if it weren't audible outside my headphones, it wouldn't bother me as much but I suppose I should deal with it anyway I use caig lube (with the needle) on my fader successfully I've used deoxit on the eq pots and that worked ok but with the button, I'm not sure how to proceed
