Anybody ever play with a live drummer? what about an e-drummer? what about an e-drummer also using live synths while you do cuts/looping and also live synths?

Latest in a series of shows I have been doing for an online radio station called Shared Frequencies .. Zetrik - Shared Frequencies set 12/10/2020 ¨This is a original set I put together myself, crafting together beats, samples synths, scratching, and a bit of theremin ..a lot of vocal samples were pulled from various places online including 10 year old answering machine confessionals, CB radio trucker chatter, and a morning radio interview with Baton Rouge rapper Webbie …enjoy¨

Yeah you can kinda fake the whole button box action with key control/midi mapping ...I aint got a midi-in table so that's what I plan on doing anyhow lol

So...I also just got a Neutron (in October) and also want to get on some syntablism in the near future...I think the person we wanna talk to on this is Kristian Gjerstad , as he has actually hooked his rig up to a Neutron successfully with the zip zaps ...I will try to holler at him on FB

I still have a copy of Fathomless which also came out in 98 , that was Faust, Shortee, and Craze basically attempting a scratch band project, I actually got to see this live in town at Electric Lounge ! ...apparently Craze now hates all that stuff he did back then smh

Yeah it's kind of a not too obvious feature but it's pretty cool for staying on point..and you can use the Link function to keep it in sync with Live or whichever. I don't use Maschine either but I did just get an MPD24 so I will prolly be using that in conjunction with Live/Traktor to make beats/cut over them.

Hey all ...started doing longer sets as part of a 'residency' for a online radio station called Shared Frequencies ..this was the first one back in September

Watching this again..good stuff...just curious if anyone else with Traktor /Z2 mixers ever use the external metronome function at all? I dig it when trying to make loop recorder layers that Im recording because you can hear the metronome and both channels...but you only actually record the output so no metronome sound is heard by anybody but you. I also use metronomes in Ableton live to do the same thing with the loopers in there but the Traktor one is super loud which is better to keep on point etc...also works well for live beat drumming/looping
