I would advise going for 33 1/3 motor as it's what we are used to. The table is gonna be different enough as it is to a normal table so anything that will emulate a normal table will be good imo. Also I'd say just use normal speed samples instead of pitched up ones. Pitched up ones are cool now and then but as you wont be able to change the record on this normal ones will be better. It's like if someone said normal speed samples or pitched up ones are gonna dissapeer I recon most people would choose to keep the normal ones. Just my little input.

Just get a soft synth called the Trilogy as a plug in for Cubase. I know what you mean about hardwear but once you hear this you'll see what I mean. It's the best Bass synth I've heard for emulating live bass adn electronic. I have tricked loads of people into thinking I've sampled live bass when it has been from this. The only downside is it's huge.

I'd say DeeSwift probs has some of the fastest cut's I've heard. Full stop. I doub't there are many peeps on this planet who could keep up with him. (Without wanting to sound like an arse licker) Anyone who hasn't heard him check the 12 minute practice file over the fast electro. I doub't that pretty much anyone would be able to hold those cuts that tight over that beat for that long no matter how long or hard they practiced. If you're just talking one burst of flares I can do really fast 1 clicks.

Look at the length of the upfaders. You'd have to walk round the side of your decks to push them fuckers all the way up.

Fucking agreed. He is superb. I heard a practice file from him from about 3 or 4 years ago and it was awesome.

Actually I will. I did my first gig with the Loopstation last week and videod it. It actually came out OK but you can't hear the MC properly which kind of spoils the overall thing.
