just a question... how much do you pay for netflix... might be less trouble to just get a newsgroup account... 1 better quality, 2... no need to convert.
@Cambian, i live in the states unfortunately, does anyone Q&A online, i think that would help me out quite a bit? And everyone else thanks for the input, and damn muzz that is one way to become a well rounded dj.
lately i do not think i have improved in quite a bit... i was wondering how you fellas practice? Is it structured and you work on specific techniques.... or do you just freestyle...
not really any new techniques.... from what i noticed, it seems like all the 'new" scratches are just timing and combo variations of flares chrips stabs transforms tears ect..
vinyl release would be real cool as long as it ships to the states for a reasonable price. Or maybe you can release the vinyl, FLAC, CD, mp3's ect. I'll be sure to check out those links when I get home.
nice flares man, real clean and precise. i agree with everyone above, the video seems like you are practicing certain techniques instead of riding and flowing with the beat.
Im with doob i joined for the first 3 months and then canceled. It seems like most of his video responses are just repeats of something else. I mainly joined for wanting some beat juggling patterns to practice and I can say this. The beat juggling lessons were not that great while I was there and they only had 3 basic ones(x2ks lessons were better and had a lot more of them). For scratching though it will teach you some music theory that you can apply to your cuts which is great but once you get the concepts down there is really nothing more to learn from the QSU, and it seems like Qbert is saying the same exact thing over and over again, just in a slightly different way with the video responses. Asides that its a great community, and you can get responses from the man himself. While I was leaving though it did seem that he was kind of half assing the responses to a lot of videos. Especially with the text responses. hope that helps
