Howdy... my brother is in the market for a new laptop (Duo Core 2 T7300 type stuff) and i'm concerned with him getting Vista. Although it seems all the laptops are coming with Vista nowadays, some makers like Lenovo still come with XP installed on them. I've used Vista on new machines and it is considerably slower to me than what I would imagine having a Core2 processor run XP. 1. Can you remove Vista and load XP? (don't know why this would be any different from other Microsoft products but just checking) 2. How does Vista compare to XP, performance wise? 3. Are there advantages to Vista over XP? we don't care much for the neat little tricks it has. Grassy Ass
