  3. Production wise I only dabble, so I wouldn't be surprised if theres a ton of reasons why this thing aint gonna cut the mustard. But personally speaking Im interested in anything that makes live production a user friendly experience, considering the target market there should be enfaces towards that as well as handy live performance features. Blatantly gonna be overpriced but with Dave Smith filters, no computer, pioneer build and sound my interest is peaked. Ps - As a tech fan boy I really like Pioneer Dj under there new ownership, long gone are the days where there dj line resembled unimaginative bulky hi fi kit. Even if your not interested in there products, Pio's bulging product line is getting more rounded by the month, the ripple effect across the industry is jus the kick up arse competing manufacturers need to make us more interesting competitively priced gadgets.

  4. Karol, I would highly recommend you checking out DJ Chile scratch tutorials, there are very informative and he breaks it down very well. I've learnt new things on scratches I can already do and remembered a lot of stuff on techniques and patterns I've forgotten.

  5. Hi Guys, I've been browsing the web and following the trends in portable scratching and i want to jump in the pool as well. By the way i'm loving the PT01 modding thread! Awesome work! My question is the following: What valid options do we have available apart from the Numark/Ion PT01 and the Vestax handy traxx? I live in Portugal and here all these turntables are discontinued... All we have now is the Numark PT 01 Touring, which i haven't seen any reviews/videos for it (actually i've seen 1 video, but it wasn't a good one). I've also seen that there some guys using this: which is what a crosby and PT01 touring use as well, not sure though. So do you think there are any alternatives besides the popular ones? Or should i try to get them, even if i have to pay more? Thanks guys!
