  1. Thanks for that link Symatic. I finally got it working, I soldered it differently then the diagram from their website. Here's a picture just in case anyone needs it. https://imgur.com/a/QiTeX
  2. I got a pro x fade and I soldered the wire loom with the diagram from their website, but its not cutting on either side. Was wondering if anyone has a different diagram for soldering the wire loom for a vestax pmc-05 pro 2. I emailed them ,but havent gotten an email back.
  3. *UPDATE* Been scratching on my pt01 for a couple days now with no buzzing noise and I turned it on right now n that infamous sound came back hahaha!!!DAMN!!! Like rasteri said this is probally your best bet at eliminating that noise. Just leave this plug unplugged circled in red. Don't have to worry about unscrewing that black wire. http://imgur.com/17ycjiJ It will get rid off the buzzing from the platter too. I like using the usb for dvs with my ipad so ill try n find another way to get rid of the noise and still be able to use the usb functions.
  4. Fixed the buzzing noise. It was a grounding issue. So I plugged the usb plug back in and removed this black ground wire thats screwed in http://imgur.com/WDsCJrO And stuck it between the metal faceplate like this http://imgur.com/KeJARPm http://m.imgur.com/VRAutve Fixed the buzzing noise that's been driving me crazy. Had help from flesh_one on ig.
  5. I found a fix to get rid of the buzzing noise, have to unplug one of the plugs on the usb board. When removed cant hear any buzzing at all. http://imgur.com/17ycjiJ I circled it in red. But now I cant use the usb functions when this is unplugged hahaha fml. Gonna try n find another fix for anybody that has this problem.
  6. Good lookin out Rasteri. I opened the tt and everything seemed fine on the inside, nothing felt loose.I switched to batteries and got the same noise. I did notice that the sound comes on when the platter starts and gets louder as I put pressure on the platter. Not sure if it's the tonearm cables or something with the platter. Im going to mess around with it some more see if I can fix it.
  7. Had my pt01 for a couple of months now and I started to notice a loud humming noise or buzzing noise coming out the rca outputs and headphone jacks. When I connect it to my ipad via the usb camera connection kit, the sound is clean no humming at all. TO me it sounds like a grounding issue. If I open the tt up anything I should look for? Anybody else have this problem?
