Banano
get an edirol pcr30 or if you're feeling cheap, an evolution mk425. both of these allow you to save your knob/slider assignments whereas the m-audio ones don't so you have to go and re-assign everytime you want to use it. the key action on the pcr30 feels much nicer than the other two brands as well (cos it's Roland). Blak Randy
I use the Evolution MK249a. I think thats it. There is not that much between tmidi keyboards really. Havent used the Roland but sounds like a cool feature. Easy DissBoom
Kper
the one i was gonna mention, its name just went out of my head... :48_48: Its cheap, reliable and good but it's only USB not midi, really good for stuff like Reason et al but if you need MIDI then no good... and the name is Oxygen 88 i think, i know its oxygen, but 88 could be from something else. I've used it plenty and it works a treat, only an octave and half tho, but 8 assignable knobs and easily portable as well as runs on batteries if you need to carry it aboot... Blak Randy
cheers mate i'm going for a 61 key one. Deffo a good idea. I have a 49 key one then went to a mates house who has a 25 key one and it's a right fuck on moving the range up and down. It'll only cost you a couple of extra quid too.
