Steve
I was just reading a post by 2tall on the Skratch-Alienz forum about this very subject. Do you think that it is important for every element of a track to be scratched and unedited, or do you think it's acceptable to use some kind of production? Does it even matter? Monkey-Hands
As long as it sound good, whats the problem?!I think not all has to be scratched! When it is, thats dope. But if not, doesnt matter!

Steve
I thought most people here would say that. I imagine if you asked the same question on Asis, you would get a very different response. I agree with you guys though.

I agree with you guys though.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>i use to think that every sound should be scratched but i went back and studied various people and concluded that i dont always have to scratch it.. if that makes sense. of course, listening to DJ Revolution's multi-tracked mixes will make you want to do the opposite. Blak Randy
Saying everything has to be all scratched is stupid. Just scratch the bit's that sound better scratched. Some things will never sound better scratched no matter how tight you are.
Liam
Different techniques of working will bring forth different styles. Having an all scratched track will certainly bring forth a certain style in a very strong way, which does make it somewhat unique.
