Steve
This is a really simple interface for converting audio to the Ogg Vorbis format. It's a far better format then MP3 and also seems to have some support as far as portable MP3 players are concerned - my iRiver player will play OGG files. http://rarewares.org/ogg.html There are various versions optimised for different processors. Download the one you want, unzip it and run it. Simple as that - no installation is necessary. To encode files, just drop them on the main program window. To access more options, right click the window.
Liam
Beware: I've been using this app for some time, but I've often found that the files it produces can cause some AV syncronisation problems in video files (I use XviD, .avi container). To wit: VirtualDubMod seems to struggle, but old fashioned NanDub handles them fine. A very good app, nevertheless!
