Steve Posted August 4, 2005 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Once Tray It is running, you can right click on the X that usually closes a program and send it to the system tray. It's basically minimising, but it keeps your taskbar free of clutter. Here's a screenshot of what happens. I used winLAME, Sound Forge, Audition & Outlook Express: - Download it here if you wanna try it. If you right click any of the icons you sent to the taskbar, you can change a few of Tray It's options, including having it start when you boot your PC if you like. I've often wondered why Windows doesn't have more provision/flexibility over minimisation, I guess it's to avoid confusing n00b.
