djxander
is this an old mix dude? Do you ever do any live remix ish? (Vocals w/ dif beats, etc)
Dub-Se7en
Nope, brand new, made it yesterday. some of the tracks were in my first hiphop mix that i did over a year ago on the stanton forums..... i don't do any live remixing. maybe i should have a go but my mixes are normally 'straight off the platter' mixes with no multitracking. Dub-Se7en
it was still done on vinyl, just not the original vinyl, timecoded ones. still mixed in the same way though... i've got a lot of the above tunes on vinyl, and ripped them to FS. in fact in a few tunes you can hear the cracks and pops that were picked up as i recorded them... BTW Thanks for the comments. a lot of the track selection and mix styles in all my mixes is based on that Hiphop don't stop the greatest mixed by prime cuts. that album has been so influential to me. it's what got me in to this. before that album i was a techno head....
