Wax On
I’m still useless at adding media here but I’ve done a mega interview with Peter Parker, loads of battle/DJing related stuff and he tells a good story: Spotify: https://spotify.link/Tkyn71uhbEb Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/once-a-dj/id1671744646?i=1000632550826 YouTube: https://youtu.be/40dlCceEVTQ?si=TXfbHOhV06BqFcNm hope you enjoy!
Steve
I saw him DJ at Stafford uni back in the mid-late 90s. I assume it was with Fingathing, but there was no advertising at all - not that I saw anyway. The bar at Stafford uni had a nightclub attached to it called Legends, and that's where they were DJing. Me and 7 or 8 mates of mine decided to go there on a whim, not knowing what was on. It sucked, cos aside from my group of friends, there was like 2 dozen other people in there, but the DJing was dope, both technically and in terms of tune selection. They had a 6 deck/3 mixer setup going on, but Peter Parker did the bulk of the DJing.

Yeah interesting, he didn't mention much about solo/dj sets generally through the interview...maybe it was with Mark One or someone like that
