Virgin Media boosting speeds for free again

I'm on VM's M200 package, which used to give me 220Mbps down and 20 up. Last night I noticed my Wi-Fi wasn't working, so I rebooted my router and now I'm getting faster speeds: -

The operation configuration of the Hub now shows the new max limits of 287.5Mbps down and 27.5 up: -

If you're with VM, run a speed test to see if you notice faster speeds and if you don't, give your router a reboot to see if you receive the upgrade.

I pay £47 a month. That gives me broadband, a router, their "Maxit" cable TV package which includes well over 200 channels and loads of on-demand stuff, plus a 1TB TiVo box.

I was gonna dump the TV as I hardly ever watch it, but they charge £50 for the broadband on its own. I negotiated a deal a while back, so I'm better off sticking with what I've got for now.
