Steve
I'm on VM's M200 package, which used to give me 220Mbps down and 20 up. Last night I noticed my Wi-Fi wasn't working, so I rebooted my router and now I'm getting faster speeds: - The operation configuration of the Hub now shows the new max limits of 287.5Mbps down and 27.5 up: - If you're with VM, run a speed test to see if you notice faster speeds and if you don't, give your router a reboot to see if you receive the upgrade.
scottie(the)goonie
What are you paying a month for that? I pay $80/month (was $55/month for 1 year but they just upped it).
Steve
I pay £47 a month. That gives me broadband, a router, their "Maxit" cable TV package which includes well over 200 channels and loads of on-demand stuff, plus a 1TB TiVo box. I was gonna dump the TV as I hardly ever watch it, but they charge £50 for the broadband on its own. I negotiated a deal a while back, so I'm better off sticking with what I've got for now. scottie(the)goonie
Pretty good deal. I get 400 down (useless) and 10 up. I would rather have your service where I live. Have you every thought of just going 5G service and cutting the cord entirely? I've been thinking about it since I'm constantly broadcasting (PDAnet) to my laptop. Steve
I can't get any 5G service where I live. Less than 60% of the UK population can get it. The providers all say "rolling out soon" when I do a coverage check, but they've been saying that for ages.
